On 27th of May 2018, my family and I
had set our first step on the soil of Nandi Hills. Nandi Hills are known for
their thick, green layers of pristine forests residing on them. Time ticked by,
and soon after it was evening. The hills were surrounded by thick, white fog
which seemed like a layer of thick cream floating in the thin air.
We had planned a fascinating 7 days trip to the
gorgeous hills and set up camps on the top.
When evening came, it was freezing cold, and we
snacked on flaring hot and mouth-watering corn with some pepper crumbs added to
them. This is why I love hill stations.
After that, we went to see the sunset. The rays
of the sun seemed like shining, golden strings. We saw that a whole new
beautiful golden environment had been created. My father described this as the
‘true colors of nature’.
We started to collect logs as night had begun to
fall. We set up our camp, built a campfire and began to dance around it. After
all the excitement, we went to sleep peacefully.
